I hope all of you U.S. readers enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving weekend!  I certainly did.  I managed to make some time for quilting.   My concentric circle quilting on my latest improv piece is coming along, slower than I had hoped…. but coming!

I am too cheap to go buy more basting pins so my circle quilt basting is also moving along pretty slowly.  I have to finish quilting one before I can fully baste the next one!  Any progress is good at this point however.

I couldn’t resist sharing these little stacks of cuteness that I found in the fat quarter boxes at Superbuzzy a few weeks back.  I have had a low– to medium– volume quilt in mind for while!  This would be so sweet for a baby don’t you think?

It definitely appeals to my love of neutrals.  They were just too cute to pass up!  The Golden Goose print on the right really got me as that was the class play Miss K did in first grade last year- awww!  Anyway, they are packed full of new Japanese and modern lovliness right now- bolts of fabricky(yes, I know that’s not officially a word) goodness everywhere you look!!! I wish I would have had my camera with me, instead I had my little Miss N,  so our visist was short and sweet.

And she finally got a new little “lovey” blanky out of the the visit!  Her last one fell apart she loved it so much, I’m too embarrased to even show you photos of it’s sad condition!! 🙂 Thanks to the patient and helpful team at Superbuzzy as we chose just the right fabric for it!

I’m off to quilt another circle now!!  Have a great week!
