When I received a request, by the lovely group of modern quilters over at the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild, to feature my quilt on their blog, I was thrilled! This is my “Fact or Fiction” quilt, which also happens to be featured over at Modern Day Quilts today, and it’s a favorite in my own little collection.
They have a really nice blog and are obviously a dedicated bunch. Stop on over and check out some of the other modern quilts they have featured. I think you’ll find some familiar favorites. I thank them for wanting to include mine!!
This quilt is making some serious rounds lately!! I have also linked up with Canoe Ridge Creations {sew} Modern Monday. There are some fun modern creations over there to check out too. Enjoy!

In other sewing news, I’m making s-l-o-w—- progress on my spiderweb Christmas tree skirt. Please excuse the bad photo, the lighting in my room is really bad……
I’m sort of designing/figuring as I go- typical of the way I work. Fine, but makes for a lot of extra time spent pondering. Yes, it does seem a bit large. I figure it’ll end up around 45″ square. Ehhh, we get big Christmas trees most years so it’ll be fine!
I am so in love with the adorable one that Faith whipped up– don’t know how she does it, but it’s amazing! After seeing hers, I was ready to scrap this one and start making a bunch of cute little houses, however,
I have started this one and I want to finish this one. Hopefully by THIS Christmas!!
Hope your holiday sewing is moving along well and you’re having fun with it!
