I finished up Miss A’s bed quilt top today. I came back to this quilt after letting it sit for almost a year and not knowing what to do with it.
A few weeks ago I came back to it and discovered a fun way to make it work.
I am so excited to get this quilt finished but I think it will have to wait until after Quilt Con.
Although I pieced this top using paper foundation for the strips, I am working on another one using muslin foundation and finding that much more stable, not to mention easier. You can find my tutorial for these Scrappy Strings HSTs here!

So fresh and pretty! Congrats on getting this to finished top stage
Oh, this quilt is so lovely ~ really like the wonkiness of it!
This is gorgeous, Karen! I love the asymmetry. I’m a big fan of muslin as a foundation. It makes such a difference. Safe travels to QuiltCon! Hope to see you there.
wow, this is absolutely beautiful. What a fantastic way to use scraps, simply gorgeous!
