We’ve had a little warming spell here in “blooming poppy” land, so the girls and I enjoyed their day off from school with a little visit to our much loved neighborhood botanic garden.
We enjoyed a little rock hopping over the creek, trail walking, plant identifying, general exploring, fairy house tidying…….
and of course taking notice of one of the first blooming poppies of the season.
It’s so important to my personal state of being and my ability to stay creative and inspired, to get outside; and what a cherished gift to be able to do so with my three little “blooming poppies”.

What a wonder-filled place to have nearby. I too need to step outside daily to keep myself fresh.
