So my machine is gathering dust, my “tools” have been put away.  It’s like a ghost town in my sewing studio.   Do you ever get into that creative “funk” that you just can’t seem to shake yourself out of?  I’m deep in it these days.

 school fundraisers, festival, meetings,

birthday parties, family obligations, etc.  All the sweet stuff that life holds!!

I am enjoying these precious moments with family and friends and trying to surrender to the flow of life as it is- without a single ongoing sewing project.  Since I’m not feeling much inspiration these days, that’s not been all that hard.:-)

Of course, having just received this heaping splurge in the mail the other day(thank you Fabricworm and Denyse Schmidt), I’m not sure how long that surrender will last!  A good little breather shall we say?
