This morning when I woke to the news that I have another quilt featured over at Modern Quilt Guild’s 100 Days of Modern Quilting, I was surprised(I wasn’t sure of the date it would “air”) and again, quite honored and excited. My Stormy Seas Quilt, which you can read more about here, was a quilt I hadn’t even submitted to MQG. So when they contacted me to ask if they could use it, I was thrilled. Apparently they saw something in it that I hadn’t, or I had let other things-that I considered mistakes about it, cloud my judgement. Whatever, it just feels nice to have recognition for my uuhh, “unique” designs and the splashes of color I often feel compelled to add to my quilts. Again- thank you Modern Quilt Guild!

congratulations!
I must know a fantastic, beautiful quilt when I see one. I absolutely love this quilt and let me tell you….I still can’t find the mistake. Thank you and Great Work!!!! I am proud to be the one that has your first “mistake”.
